Neu·Relieve™ is a formula consisting of vitamins, minerals and amino acids designed to nutritionally support production of the neurotransmitters that are depleted by the long term use of benzodiazepines.

Prolonged use of benzodiazepines results in the reduction of certain normal neurotransmitter availability, the principle of which is associated with the Gamma Amino Butyric Acid, GABA, receptor site. As the GABA brain site is continuously provided with drugs which mimic the configuration and action of normal neurotransmitters the brain begins to reduce their production in favor of the easily available medication. These drugs, while effective for short-term relief of acute anxiety, produce significant withdrawal difficulties if used for more than 2 - 4 weeks as recommended by the manufacturers.

Beginning in September, 2002, thirty-five men and women from various localities in the United States agreed to participate in a blind, placebo controlled study to evaluate the effectiveness of NeuRecover BZ in reducing the withdrawal symptoms associated with recovery from use of benzodiazepines. Participants were given either a placebo (inert ingredients) or NeuRecover BZ , each for a one-month period, and did not know which they were receiving. No one reported better effects with placebo and 9 out of 10 reported reduced withdrawal symptoms with NeuRecover BZ. NeuRecover BZ is now known as Neu•Relieve™.

As previously stated this supplement has been shown to reduce the acute and protracted withdrawal symptoms, which make the recovery process so difficult.

How Neu·Relieve™ works:

Neu·Relieve™ is NOT intended to take the place of benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines should never be stopped abruptly. This supplement provides nutritional support for natural replenishment of neurotransmitters depleted by the benzodiazepines.

Directions for Use:

Take 30 minutes or more before meals. Take two capsules three times daily. Customers have reported getting the same positive benefits from taking three capsules two times per day, again, for a total of six capsules.
